My sweet friend, Julie, babysat Oakley one day so I could go on field trip with one of the other kids. Julie only has boys so she loves having a girl around. She curled Oakley's hair, it was so cute!!! It made her look older which I didn't love, but other than that it was so cute!!!

Poor Sweet Baby Pryce!!!
The kids were out front riding their bikes and scooters on the front sidewalk while I made dinner. Jarrett came running to tell me that Pryce was hurt and bleeding. Pryce followed crying with blood all over his chin and hands. I put a towel against the underneath of his chin and tried to calm him....and then I looked. (graphic picture ahead, not for the weak)
It was obvious with just one look that we would be going to get stitches. I called Reggie who was on his way home with Summer and then I called the doctors. They closed at 5pm and it was 5:30pm, but luckily they were still there and let me bring him to them instead of going to the ER.
Pryce was so tough it was crazy. He didn't cry at all at the doctors. They put in 7 stitches and he just held still and didn't make a peep. The nurse and doctor were so impressed with how tough he was. Reggie and I were as well.
We came home to cards from the siblings and lots of concern. It was pretty traumatic for all of us, but thank heavens it wasn't very bad. Pryce loves looking at the pictures of his stiches and the before picture to, gross boy!!!

Baby Bunnies!!!
One day when I was home with only Oakley (who was down for a nap) I looked outside by our shed. As I was looking I noticed little balls of fur hopping around. I soon realized there were baby bunnies coming out from under our shed. I was so excited and so confused. We owned 3 girl bunnies, all which spent the winter free, one having been free for years. We had just recently caught the last two, but they didn't play nice so we had them in separate cages. I thought it odd they weren't playing nice because they were sisters, so we thought. Turns out they were brother and sister. The brother S'more made babies with our other loose bunny Flopsy and thus there were baby bunnies coming out of my shed.
They were the cutest things and because I was home alone I had to call and freak out to my sister, Michelle, because I knew she would understand my excitement. Then I called everyone else I could think of. I couldn't wait for the kids to get home!!!
We played with them, they were so small and cute. Unfortunately we weren't the only ones who loved the bunnies and one by one the feral cats of the neighborhood snuck in at dusk and dawn and ate our babies. It was a VERY traumatic week for our family. LOTS of tears. I had to witness the death of a bunny and poor, sweet, Summer caught a cat eating her favorite bunny. We were only able to save one from the cats wrath.
Unfortunately the bunny still needed to be nursing and I don't think her belly adjusted the bunny food because the next week we found her dead in the cage. More tears and sadness in our home.
There is a silver lining. About a week or so after the last bunny died 5 more bunnies came out from under the shed. They were even older than the other ones and very quick. We trapped them under the shed at night to keep the cats away from them and worked at catching them. We caught all 5 and there have been no more bunny deaths!!!
Summer is 10!!!
I can't believe Summer is already 10. She is such a good girl and so responsible. I would be lost without all her help!!!
Tubing with the Udys!!!
I am only 6 months behind : ) What can I say, I am busy enjoying the memories instead of documenting them!!!
In January we went tubing/sledding with our friends on their awesome hill. The older "boys" ended up making a jump and it got pretty crazy after that. Summer, Pryce and Oakley had no desire to go off the jump, but Jarrett couldn't stop. He loved it!!!

Pryce is 5!!!
Pryce is the happiest, giggliest, sweetest thing right now! He is always smiling and such a good boy. He was so excited for his birthday, he couldn't wait to have a day all about him. We opened presents first thing in the morning.
For lunch we met some friends at McDonalds and eat and played. We came home and I made the cake. Pryce wanted a lion cake. He loved how it turned out, I didn't, but his opinion was the only one that mattered!!! As long as you looked at it from above it looked like a lion, oh well!!!
Then the Karlee Jo, the Belcher Family and the Smith Family came over for an evening party. We ate pizza, did a pinata, danced, acted like animals and had a blast!!! The night ended with a cousin sleepover in a fort in the living room!
Pryce loved it all and had a great birthday!!! We are so happy to have him in our lives!!! He is the BEST!!!
